☀ frequently asked questions ☀
☀What is a zine? A zine is a project, typically a booklet, consisting of fanfiction and fanart with accompanying merchandise dedicated to a specific fandom and/or ship. It is made by fans and for fans of a franchise.
☀ Will ships be allowed? Ships are allowed and contributors are free to choose whatever ship they would like to contribute with as long as they are unproblematic. However, pieces shouldn’t focus on romance at the expense of the scenery and how the characters interact with it. Latin America shouldn’t be just a background, but a major plot point in all pieces.
☀ Can minors contribute? Yes, but since this is a split-profit project, contributors under 18 will receive no monetary compensation unless they are able to provide a guardian’s PayPal information on their behalf. We only ask you to be at least 13 as of Twitter and Discord's guidelines.
☀ Will you only be accepting contributors from Latin America? We're aiming to have as many Latin American creators as possible! This Zine is a project made to celebrate life in Latin America and, like such, you can rest assured there will be a big majority of Latin American creators involved, but we will also give international contributors the opportunity to apply and participate.
☀ The zine is about the characters experiencing the latin american life, but would that be from a tourist or local point of view? We will be leaving that up to the creators. They are welcome to choose the one they think suits their works best.
☀ Where will the zine be produced/shipped from? Bundles will be produced and shipped from Colombia.
☀ How will contributors be compensated? Once contributors and mods are paid accordingly for their work, the revenue left will be donated to charity. Aside from monetary compensation, our main goal is to compensate every contributor with items of their choice. Shipping to be included only if revenue allows.
